Design by Pierre Studer SA. In 2013, Montres Corum completely redefined its presence at Baselworld, unveiling a stand that embodied innovation, craftsmanship, and architectural boldness. As one of the most prestigious showcases in the luxury watch industry, Baselworld demanded a space that not only reflected Corum’s heritage but also pushed the boundaries of design.

Rising 34 feet high, the structure featured 25 luminous columns, spanning three levels and encompassing an exclusive restaurant, bar, and private meeting rooms. Designed to be assembled and dismantled annually until 2023, the stand was a testament to precision engineering and adaptability.

Time was the ultimate challenge. With an uncompromising deadline, the team worked relentlessly for 14 weeks to bring this ambitious vision to life. At its core stood two monumental iron staircases, each crafted as a single piece, seamlessly wrapped in wood and accentuated by elegant glass railings. The modular façade, soaring to 34 feet, was anchored by two custom glass doors, while the illuminated columns integrated an intricate network of 3,200 linear feet of LED lighting, creating a striking interplay of light and structure.

Between these luminous pillars, nine bespoke glass showcases were meticulously crafted, featuring custom locks and keys, underscoring Corum’s dedication to exclusivity and security. The result was more than an exhibition space—it was an architectural statement, where technical mastery and refined aesthetics converged in perfect harmony.
