Set against the artistic backdrop of Long Island, a place renowned for its cultural institutions and vibrant creative scene, stands a stunning contemporary villa envisioned by Toshihiro Oki Architect.

Completed in July 2014, this architectural masterpiece offers breathtaking ocean views, framed by expansive glass surfaces that blur the boundaries between interior and exterior, flooding the living spaces with natural light.

To bring this vision to life, Extravega engineered, manufactured, and installed 29 tailor-made doors and windows, both fixed and sliding, designed to seamlessly integrate with the villa’s sleek aesthetic. Crafted with aluminum frames, these bespoke elements include imposing glass panels reaching up to 13 square meters, featuring double glazing with an impressive total thickness of 39 mm. Beyond their striking visual impact, these doors and windows were meticulously engineered to withstand hurricanes, a crucial requirement given the island’s climate.

The highly customized profiles incorporate marine-grade stainless steel (AISI 316) vertical fins, ensuring both durability and effortless operation. A sleek, minimal handle design enhances ease of use while maintaining the villa’s refined architectural language.
