Within a luxurious private villa in New York, a remarkable collaboration between Designer Giusi Mastro Ora Studio and Extravega has yielded an exquisite display of bespoke craftsmanship. Extravega, renowned for its expertise in metalwork and custom design, played a pivotal role in shaping the residence’s sophisticated interior. The project began with a request for bronzed brass coverings and bespoke interior elements, and it quickly expanded to encompass a range of striking features.

Extravega’s contributions spanned from crafting glass parapets for a grand staircase with glass parapets, to fabricating inner entry doors and a magificent custom dining table made with ebony top and bronze liquid metal finish structure. The firm also designed a stunning stainless steel hood cover and a monumental fireplace environment featuring a bronze base and octagonal-shaped bronze columns. The result is a contemporary design residence defined by fine finishes and custom furnishings that resemble works of art.

Emphasis was placed on the meticulous selection and processing of materials, including metal, glass, wood, and liquid metal. Extravega’s advanced metal carpentry department, equipped with state-of-the-art machinery, enabled precise execution of punching, bending, welding, laser cutting, turning, and milling on various metal materials. Stainless steel, iron, Corten®, brass, bronze, and special alloys were available in a range of finishes, including gloss, matte, satin, painted, and antiqued.

Beyond the interior, Extravega also contributed to other areas of the villa, installing artistic ironwork on all 78 balconies and the incredible exclusive bespoke wine cellar at the ground floor. Every element was executed with meticulous precision, aligning with the refined vision of the architect and exceeding the expectations of the client. Extravega’s commitment to excellence is evident in every detail, transforming this residence into a truly unique and luxurious masterpiece.
