During Fuorisalone 2017, Extravega collaborated with Ceramica Cardisa installation, a project of the Architectural Studio Iosaghini. The installation is called ‘I-M-Material’.
Massimo Iosa Ghini faces the ancient theme of dualism between material and immaterial with an installation made of ceramic and light. The first material as an earth formed by the fire, it is the paradigm of materiality; the second material, the light, is a symbolf of the thought. The transition from the material to the light is expressed by the juxtaposition between the abstract beauty of light and the “terrible” and concrete assence of ceramics.
In the duality between the light and the material there is the genesis of every creation.
